Terms and refunds
Darboon is run by Darboon, California, United States. Contact: support@darboon.com
The service
Darboon is a moderation and analysis tool for X. It is not affiliated with X Corp.
- Protect a post: for 7 days it reads the replies and quote posts, uses an AI model to judge which are abusive towards the account, and on that account's behalf hides those replies (in threads it started) and mutes their authors, as you set. It acts only on posts of accounts connected to your workspace, and only when you ask.
- Analyze a post: for 7 days it reads the replies and quote posts to any public post and groups them into themes, including themes you describe yourself. Nothing is hidden or muted.
Workspaces
A workspace holds one or more X accounts and the people who work on them. Its owner is responsible for the workspace: its billing, who is a member, and that every X account connected to it is one the workspace may manage. Members act on the workspace's posts on its behalf.
Mistakes happen
The judging is automated and will sometimes be wrong in both directions. Every action is listed on your dashboard and can be undone there. The service is provided as is, without a guarantee that every abusive reply is caught.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows: the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose; Darboon is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost followers or harm to reputation, or for what X, its users or other services do; and Darboon's total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. X can change or withdraw its API at any time, which may stop parts of the service working.
You are responsible for the X accounts you connect and for the actions you choose. If someone makes a claim against Darboon because you used the service with an account you were not authorised to manage, or against these terms, you will cover the cost of that claim.
Price
You pay for what is used, on price card 2026-10-18. What you are charged is set by these rates and nothing else: 2.2¢ for each reply or quote post read, 2.2¢ for each reply hidden, 2¢ for each account muted, (checking the images in replies is included in the price of reading them), 0.1¢ for each reply checked against themes of your own. Usage goes on a tab, and the workspace's saved card is charged each time the tab reaches $5.00; Stripe sends a receipt for each charge. Each post has a spending cap that you choose; a post is never charged beyond its cap, and when the cap is reached the post pauses until you resume it. You can remove the card at any time; any open tab is charged then.
A post is charged on the price card that was current when it started, for as long as it runs: if prices change, the new card applies only to posts started after it took effect. Each card charge says which cards its usage came from.
Price changes
We may change our prices, for example when what X or our other providers charge us changes. A change is made by publishing a new price card. We announce a price rise at least 30 days before it takes effect: in these terms, beside the prices on our website, on every workspace's dashboard, and by email to workspace owners whose address we have. A price cut may take effect as soon as it is published.
A new card applies only to posts started on or after the date it takes effect, including posts started by always-on protection. Posts already running keep the card they started on until they end, and credit already given (the trial and gifts) keeps its value in dollars. If you do not accept new prices, do not start posts after they take effect; nothing started before then is charged at the new prices.
Trial
Each new workspace's first $5 of usage needs no card. If you stop using the service within it, you pay nothing. If you carry on and pay for more usage with a card, the trial amount is billed along with that usage.
Supporting the service
Anyone can pay an amount of their choice to support Darboon. Such a payment is voluntary, pays for the service's development and for protection given to people who cannot afford it, and buys nothing for the person paying. It is not a donation to a registered charity and is not tax-deductible.
Refunds
If the service did not work for usage you paid for, write to us within 30 days and we will refund it. Contact: support@darboon.com
Acceptable use
Use it only with X accounts you own or are authorised to manage, for example for a client, and not to target, harass or silence people for lawful criticism. If you send accounts to a list, you are responsible for what you and anyone you share it with do with it. We may refuse or end service for misuse.
Ending
You can stop at any time: revoke the app under Settings > Security and account access > Connected apps on X, and ask us to delete your workspace. We may change or discontinue the service; paid posts already running will be honoured or refunded.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights the law of your own country gives you.
